Black Adam is nearing its release, and the world will finally have a good look at the DC supervillain’s story once the official trailer releases next month.
On May 28, the lead actor, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, unveiled the release date for Black Adam’s trailer.
The actor posted a royal black-and-white photo of him sitting at the steps of the Black Adam throne. The actor was determined to earn the right to sit on Black Adam’s throne, just like the supervillain did.
In the caption, he revealed that the trailer will drop on June 8. Additionally, he teased the throne’s crucial role, raising even more enthusiasm.
The 50-year-old actor showed off his chemistry with Black Adam director Jaume Collet-Serra in another post. He previously worked with the director for his 2021 movie, Jungle Cruise.
The picture shows the actor dressed up in intricately designed armor, looking at the script with Collet-Serra.
For a while now, Johnson has been sharing sneak peeks of Black Adam whenever he could.
In October last year, he appeared in DCFandome, via video, talked about his “gigantic passion project” and unveiled a roughly two-minute epic first look of the movie.
Moreover, one of the many things that raise anticipation for Black Adam is talks about its ratings.
Dark content in the superhero genre is becoming increasingly attractive (The Dark Knight, The Boys), and as per producer Hiram Garcia, it will be a movie that will “push the edges of PG-13.”
Black Adam’s trailer premiered at CinemaCon last month. It generated incredible buzz with the fans who had been waiting for the project to hit the screens for several years.
The much-anticipated trailer for Black Adam will premiere worldwide on June 8.
