She-Hulk: Attorney at Law wrapped up its finale after turning the traditional MCU superhero story tropes upon its head. But now that She-Hulk’s series has ended, will we see the green hero again?
The Kevin cameo, well, not Feige, did drop a hint that Jen might not feature in any other Marvel movies soon. K.E.V.I.N made no comments on season 2. The show has not been renewed for a second season, but after the ratings picked up with the last few episodes, we might have some hope of seeing She-Hulk again.
For now, She-Hulk’s future in the MCU universe is shrouded with doubt.
On November 11, 2022, MCU fans will see Wakanda again, but this time without a king. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will witness the war waged between Wakandan Queen Ramonda, Princess Shuri and mutant Namor.
The Black Panther sequel is a tribute to Chadwick Boseman and his legacy as the Black Panther. But it also celebrates a new Black Panther (we’re betting on Shuri) and marks the end of the MCU’s Phase Four.
Marvel Studios has also announced multiple shows at their SDCC 2022 panel in July, panning across Phase Five and Six.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law marked the end of the MCU’s list of TV Series on Disney+, so the next series will be part of Phase 5. The MCU has two series lined up in Spring 2023, though no official release dates have been announced yet.
What If, the first MCU series to release a second season, will premiere in early 2023. The series will introduce new characters, including Hela, Odin, Red Guardian, and more.
The second season will continue to traverse through new stories across the multiverse from the point of view of The Watcher.
But strictly speaking, What If doesn’t fall under the Marvel Cinematic Universe since it obviously explores other universes. So, the next MCU series on Disney Plus’ list is Secret Invasion, featuring Nick Fury’s return to Earth and the Skrull invasion that endangers human society.
The series will premiere on the streaming platform in Spring 2023, probably after What If season 2, though no release date has been confirmed.
The MCU has a lot in store for its fans, and Marvel Studios is not stopping any time soon, so stay tuned for more!
