Episode 6 marks the last episode of the first part of season 4 of Doom Patrol. As expected, they end the episode on a massive cliffhanger.
The enemy is after their longevity and grows stronger with every individual they claim. Two superheroes have already lost their immortality, leaving only two more. This makes it paramount for them to save the two left, namely Cliff and Larry.
The mid-season finale feels very rushed, though. Despite the big cliffhanger, the audience didn’t get a chance to experience the mystery as much as they would’ve liked.
So, let’s find out what future episodes have in store for us!
Season 4, Episode 7 Synopsis/Speculation
The last half of the fourth season will be a race against time. Rita and Jane have already lost their immortality. The group will desperately try to save Cliff and Larry now. If they fall prey to Wally, he will become unstoppable.
Wally only needs Cliff’s longevity to have a complete set. Since Rita and Rouge are the only ones free, they will try their best to avoid that.
Rita and Rouge must escape from the Bureau and find a way to free their friends before it is too late. I feel like they will use some disguise and return to the Manor. That’s where they will meet Willoughby, who will explain the entire situation to them.
Mr. 104 is my last hope for the second part of season 4. He must come to help Rita and Rouge. I think the trio will attack the temple together, and rescue Cliff from the evil clutches of Wally.
Concluding with the elephant in the room, the zombie butt is in the open. It will start infecting the entire population, and a global pandemic is undoubtedly on the cards.
The season could end with a multifaceted massacre featuring Wally’s fight with our superheroes with a fatal pandemic terrorizing the population in the background. Sighs!
