What We Do In The Shadows Gets Renewed For A Fourth Season

Season 3 of What We Do in the Shadows has not premiered yet, but a confirmed renewal of seeing the beloved vampires in a fourth season has come through.

The Emmy-nominated series based on Taika Waititi’s mockumentary of the same name is both a fan and critic favorite, giving FX much reason for its early renewal.

It delves hilariously into the supernatural lore with Kayvan Novak’s Nandor, Natasia Demetriou’s Nadja, Matt Berry’s Laszlo Cravensworth and Mark Proksch’s Colin Robinson slumming it together as undead roommates.

Here’s what Nick Grad, President of Original Programming at FX Entertainment had to say about the renewal.

Fans can’t seem to get enough of What We Do in the Shadows and FX is ready to feed that appetite by setting up the series for a fourth season. Our thanks to the extraordinary job by the creative team, cast, and crew who keep making a great show better each season.

The show only recently dropped the trailer for Season 3 which will be released on September 2. The first two episodes titled The Prisoner and The Cloak of Duplication will air back-to-back.

As per the last season’s finale, it will follow the aftermath of the vampires’ familiar Guillermo (Harvey Guillén) saving his ever-so-ungrateful masters by unveiling his abilities that can slay vampires.

It also teases the group taking charge of the Vampiric Council, which can only go sideways.

Get ready for a new season of endless comedy and um, blood lust… now that sounds like a vampire’s dream. And you will find it in What We Do in the Shadows, on FX, September 2.
