Diablo Immortal is the latest addition to the well-known Diablo series. It’s a free-to-play, massively multiplayer online action RPG video game developed by Blizzard Entertainment with tons of PvP and PvE content.
The Cycle of Strife is one such major never-ending PvP mechanic of the game where the two major factions: dark clans and immortals, battle it out for the authority over the game’s world.
The Rite of Exile is the climax of the Cycle of Strife, where the top 10 dark clans send their 8 strongest shadow fighters to fight against the Immortals in ten simultaneous 8v8 battles.
If the immortals win more than half of the battles in the Rite of Exile, the status quo remains unchanged, but if the shadow fighters win, then the members of the top dark clan become the new immortals, and thus, a new cycle begins.
The Shadow Fighters who win the Rite of Exile PvP event move onto another event called the Challenge of the Immortal.
How to participate in the Rite of Exile?
To participate in the Rite of Exile, you must be a high-level member of the top ten Dark Clans in Diablo Immortal.
If your clan’s ranking is not among the top ten, you can participate in the following events to improve your clan’s rank:
- Raid the Vault- It is an exclusive event for Shadow players where a team of four attempts to steal from the vault. It is generally a PvE event but can turn into PvP if the immortals find out about the attack.
- Path of Blood- It is a short single-player PvE event exclusive to Shadow players.
- Shadow War- It is a PvP event where the Shadow players battle amongst themselves.
- Akeba’s Challenge- It is a PvE event where the Shadow players battle against 3 mighty summoned ancient heroes.
What is the Challenge of the Immortal?
Challenge of the Immortal is a PvP event in Diablo Immortal in which 30 shadow fighters fight against 1 overpowered Immortal simultaneously.
This event takes place after the Rite of Exile. In this event, the best Immortal on the server is transformed into a giant raid boss capable enough to one-shot any of the 30 shadow players matched against him.
Again, if the Immortal wins, the status quo remains unchanged, but if the shadow fighters win, they move on to the Final Battle.
That’s almost everything you need to know about the Rite of Exile. Now, pick up your weapon and go to war!
