1. What is The Order in Sakamoto Days?

The Order

The order is an enigmatic branch of the Japanese Association of Assassins in Sakamoto Days. It comprises the country’s most skilled elite assassins and aims to maintain equilibrium in the assassin world.

Sakamoto was a part of this organization before he met his Aoi, and he metamorphosized from a ruthless killer to a sweet cinnamon roll for the sake of his love and family.

How does Sakamoto lose weight so fast in Sakamoto Days?

The order has a strict code of conduct; failure to follow it can result in banishment and even death. The rules are so strict that one of the founders, Yotsumura, was banished and sentenced to death upon failing a mission.

The order maintains balance by eliminating any threats. For example, one mission involved eliminating various serial killers: Minimalitst, Dumo, and Saw, who had broken out from jail and would have destroyed the assassin agencies.

2. How was The Order founded?

Kindaka

The Order was founded by, Kindaka and Satoru Yotsumura. Initially, it only had four members: Yotumura, Kindaka, Hyo and Takamura.

The founders, Kindaka and Satoru Yotsumura, were deft assassins.

Kindaka was one of the best assassins in Japan. His “Light Speedshoes” enhanced his supersonic speed, allowing him to act swiftly.

He was so fast that he would almost blur, and it would be hard for even Sakamoto and Nagumo to see him.

Kindaka used to invite or assassinate the troublemakers at JCC based on their skill level. He invited Nagumo, Sakamoto, Rion, and Uzuki to join the order because he knew their potential.

However, he ended up in a coma for eight years after a duel with Uzuki. Fortunately, he woke up from his coma, and his strength was still unparalleled.

Satoru Yotsumura

Satoru Yotsumura, along with Kindaka, was the co-founder of the order. He was a professor at JCC until Sei Asaki banished him.

In terms of strength and stealth, he was the No.2 for JAA and had tremendous physical strength, so much so that he could kick cars over and eliminate anyone in his path.

He wielded a three-piece staff with a blade at the end that could slice through buildings like butter, and no mortal could stand a chance against him.

3. Who are the Current Members of The Order?

The members of the order are highly skilled assassins who are distinct from ordinary assassins in every way. For example, Sakamoto hypothesized that even if ten copies of Shin Asakura (his student and ex-hitman) attacked only one member of the order, all six copies of Asakura would die in merely six seconds.

The Order has 10 slots. However, they have never been full, and currently, there are six members as follows:

1. Oki

Oki is the current leader of the order. He is a born leader, a diligent perfectionist, and a nitpicker when it comes to the members and his job as an assassin.

For most of the plot, he is overseas on a secret mission, so we haven’t seen his skills in action; however, since he is the leader of such a powerful group, you can assume his power stats.

2. Shishiba

Shishiba

Shishiba is a laid-back assassin who considers his job of killing a mere thing like cleaning the house. Before he joined the order, he was an unruly assassin until he met Satoru Yotsumura and became his mentee.

Shishiba is so strong that he almost pushes his mentor, Satrou, to the gates of death and only loses two fingers. He has excellent reflexes and can block bullets with his hammer while in a moving car.

3. Osaragi

Osaragi is one of the recent recruits and is an oddball as she is a blend of childishness and an apathetic adult. She is Shishiba’s mentee.

Despite her slender frame, Osaragi can smash boulders with mere kicks and punches. She uses a collapsible buzzsaw to attack her foes and is highly skilled in using the tool.

4. Kamihate

Kamihate is exceptional. Due to his precision, he is famous as the greatest sniper in JAA history. He is a shut-in like Rei from Buddy Daddies, but ten steps ahead as no one has ever seen his face and when he does leave his abode for his work, he covers himself in a cloak like the grim reaper.

He can wipe out multiple shooters from a distance and even shoot precisely while jumping from one building to another, like Mario. He can even read lips, making him the perfect assassin.

5. Torres

Torres

Torres is a greedy, money-hungry man drowning in debt. The only thing he is good at is assassination, but he doesn’t follow the rules of JAA.

He joined the order with Tanabata after the loss of Hyo and Takamura and the disaster at the Assassin Exhibition of the Century. However, before joining the order, he was already a formidable assassin for over fifty years in the shadows.

Currently, he uses sandblasters as he can’t afford a gun; his tools are potent enough to easily shatter rocks and metals.

6. Tanabata

Tanabata is a sensual musician with a unique fighting style. He emits tunes from his guitar and uses the force of soundwaves to burst pipes and sewage tunnels.

He has command over his guitar like a wand and was even able to knock out Osaragi. He is passionate about his songs, which obviously revolve around violence and killing.

4. What happened to the previous members of The Order?

The previous members include the founders Kindaka and Satoru Yotsumura; where one ended up in a coma, the other was set for execution for failing a mission, Sakamoto-who retired for the sake of his family, etc.

Here is a recap of the other members who aren’t in the Order.

1. Yoichi Nagumo

Nagumo is a close friend of Sakamoto’s who had informed Sakamoto of the bounty. He was a member of the order until the Assassin Exhibition of the Century Arc, where the Chairman of JAA, Sei Asaki, expelled him, possibly due to his rebellious behavior.

He is a deft assassin who is well-versed in Morse code. He can also perfectly set up disguises and fool his enemies.

2. Takamura

Kanaguri is a recurring antagonist of the series. He is a creative filmmaker known for his “Murder Films.” He was kicked out of the order after a violent fight with Sakamoto (back when he was a member).

Although he doesn’t possess the skill of killing people like the other members, his enhanced speed, reflexes, and combat abilities made him fit for the spot once he killed his friend, a member of the order.

5. Kanaguri’s friend

Kanaguri’s friend is an enigmatic figure, and there is little information about him; however, he was a member of the Order. Kanaguri was admitted to the order after he killed his friend and took his place.

5. What is the Role of the Order in the plot?

Nagumo

The Order is a ghostly reminder of Sakamoto’s callous, blood-stained past. Moreover, voice actors for Nagumo, Shishiba, and Osaragi have been announced, foreshadowing the order’s entanglement in the anime.

Nagumo is an old friend of Sakamoto’s, and they joined the order together. Despite Skamoto’s retirement from the organization, Nahumo maintains his friendship with him because he deeply cares about his well-being.

Perhaps, the anime will explore their friendship and how times have changed since Sakamoto was a violent assassin.

Shishiba and Oaragi are exceptional members of the order and will be active in the series.
