What is the Best Faction in Star Wars Outlaws? Which side should you choose?

In Star Wars Outlaws, you will take on the role of Kay Vess, a cunning scoundrel navigating the galaxy’s criminal underworld. To avoid conflicts here the best way is to join a faction. There are many factions and joining the right one can help you with the game’s progression. 

1. What is the Best Faction for players in Star Wars Outlaws?

The Pyke Syndicate is the best faction in Star Wars Outlaws, as they have the most territories across all the planets. Reputation farming is also easier in Pykes and gives you a lot of rewards, including the Imperial Gear set.

The Imperial Disguise set increases Kay’s ability to avoid detection by Imperials and increases stealth, which happens a lot throughout the game’s main missions. 

2. Pyke Syndicate

The Pykes control multiple territories on planets like Toshara, Mirogana, Akiva, and Myrra. Joining them will help build a good relationship with the Hutt Cartel and the Ashiga Clan early in the game. Also, most missions give a reputation boost if you have sided with the Pykes.

Choosing to side with Pykes will cause conflicts with the Crimson Dawn early in the game. However, if players choose to side with the Crimson Dawn instead of the Pykes, they will have a poor relationship with both the Pykes and the Ashiga Clan.

3. Other Factions

3.1 Ashiga Clan

The Ashiga Clan is the easiest faction to side with, as they’re mainly isolated to Kijimi and only conflict with Crimson Dawn. The maximum reputation reward is the Kijimi Explorer Gear, which is quite good. It helps keep you alive at low health by providing significant damage reduction. The gear set bonus supercools the blaster on low-health takedowns, and the belt increases Kay’s Bacta Vial carrying capacity for more healing.

3.2 Hutt Cartel 

The Hutt Cartel is a good faction. Their faction Gear Set can be strong in combat, giving Grenade buffs from the belt, while the jacket and pants provide damage resistance. However, it doesn’t offer much use outside of combat.

3.3 Crimson Dawn

It’s not a good idea to join the Crimson Dawn faction early in the game. They are enemies with the Pykes and the Ashiga Clan. Joining them in the early game will affect the reputation with the other two factions. In addition, their gear set, Crimson Reign, is designed to support offensive or stealthy playstyles. It enhances Smoke Bombs and Stun Shots for utility purposes.
