9Pommels of the True Flame
The Pommels of True Flame boost your strength, runic, and cool down. The attachment also provides special bonuses to runic attacks, increasing their damage, but only if your immolation gauge is filled.
The attachments are decent, as to get them to their full potential you will first need to fill up your immolation gauge and then use runic attacks. This effort, in my opinion, is not worth it.
How to obtain: You can craft this attachment after you upgrade your Blades of Chaos to at least Lvl 6.
8Deadly Obsidian Handles
The Deadly Obsidian Handles are another straightforward attachment. They provide a boost to strength stat and when fully upgraded can reach a staggering strength of 62-63 points.
The attachment provides the special ability to acquire a little bit more amount of rage with each kill performed with the Blades of Chaos. So, if you like punching your way through with Spartan Rage, these handles are fine, as they will help you accumulate Rage at a much faster rate.
How to obtain: You can obtain them in a legendary chest located in the realm of Svartalfheim.
7Cursed Empress Handles
The Cursed Empress Handles weapon offers a decent boost to both strength and luck when upgraded strength increases at a constant rate but luck increases a bit more exponentially.
‘The handles’ provides a low chance of increasing strength and runic, which stacks up to 3 times with each hit. The stack can be applied even with the basic attacks, thus allowing you to stack up the weapon’s total damage output.
How to obtain: Progress through the story, and pay attention during ‘The Quest for Tyr’ as one of the mini-bosses drops these handles after you defeat it.
6Radiant Warden Handles
The Radiant Warden Handles offer a good boost to both strengths and cooldown. The strength boost might not be the best when compared to some other handles, but the cooldown boost is worth it.
Runic attacks allow Kratos to deal huge damage, and it takes time to recharge before you can use them again, with high cooldown stats you can recharge your runic attacks faster thus increasing your damage output massively.
The special ability of the handle allows you to block all incoming projectiles (which is not possible with Blades of Chaos naturally) while charging the ‘Flame Whiplash’ attack.
How to obtain: You can craft these handles from either Brok or Sindri for 600 Hacksilver.
5Luminous Recovery Handles
The Luminous Recovery Handles, provide a decent boost to various stats and prioritize luck, but that is not what makes these handles unique.
A well-built Runic build for Kratos is capable of dishing out massive damage, and thus these Handles grant the special ability of a moderate chance of recharging all of your runic attacks with a successful Flame Whiplash attack. This can help you deal massive amounts of damage more consistently as runic attacks are your biggest source of damage.
How to obtain: Inside a legendary chest, you can find these handles after the quest ‘Forging Destiny‘ in the realm of Svartalfheim.
4Hardened War Handles
The Hardened War Handles are perfect for a well-rounded-built, the attachment provides a boost to multiple stats, notably the strength and vitality stats. When fully upgraded to Lvl 9 the handles provide a great amount of strength and a good amount of defense and vitality.
The special ability of the handle, allows Kratos to deal a lot more damage and stun to the enemies with Hyperion Grapple and Hyperion Pull. This allows you to control the distance between your enemies, all the while ensuring you deal a good amount of damage and stun to them.
How to obtain: You can get these handles in a legendary chest in Alfheim.
3Pommels of Brutal Might
The Pommels of Brutal Might offer a decent boost to your strength and defense and are quite good if you prefer close-quarters combat. The pommels grant a gift of strength whenever you stun and grab an enemy for a finisher. Your strength is increased for the remainder of the fight. This makes it easy for you to clear groups of enemies easily and quickly.
You can easily go through the entire game, by just upgrading these pommels and they will serve you well.
How to Obtain: The pommels are fairly easy to obtain. You can craft them for 2400 Hacksilver after reaching a certain point in the story.
2Pommels of Undying Spark
The Pommels of Undying Spark provide a superb strength boost and a great runic boost to Kratos. It is one of the best options if you are considering a strength build. If you frequently use the Blades of Chaos and love to light enemies on fire, this attachment has got just the special ability for you.
The Scorching Burn ability of the pommels increases the burn damage on the enemies and is thus great for dealing massive damage to enemies set on fire.
How to obtain: The attachment can be found in a legendary chest in Svartalfheim.
