After our beloved pets saved the day in DC’s animated flick, DC League of Super-Pets, it’s now time to find out whom they end up with.
At the end of Super-Pets, all the shelter pets are adopted by members of the Justice League. Lulu is of course not included, as Krypto left her stuck on a hot dog stand.
Krypto was quite jealous of his owner Superman’s girlfriend, Lois. But in the end, he lets him marry Lois. So, Krypto sticks to his original owner, Superman. Ace, the boxer, belonged to Batman, so that is whom he sticks to.
The rest of the animals from the shelter end up with various members of the Justice League. PB, the pot-bellied pig, is an original character who was created for the film and is adopted by Wonder Woman at the end of DC League of Super-Pets.
Merton the Turtle became The Flash’s pet by the end of the movie. Though Flash officially did not have any pet in the DC Comics canon, there have been many variations of the Scarlet Speedster. Merton is adopted by one such Flash.
Chip the Squirrel was actually the only one who was his own hero. In the comics, he was saved by a Guardian of the Universe who offered him a Green Lantern Ring. He became the pet of Jessica Cruz in the film and has some elements of Green Lantern in him.
The pets together also form their own team called Super-League of Pets. Each pet gets a member of the Justice League as its owner, who adopts them. So, that’s who they end up with. In the sequel, we will probably see the pets bonding more with their owners.
