All the missing titles for Final Fantasy will be available on Xbox Game Pass in the coming months and beyond. Microsoft will add a total of six new Final Fantasy titles to the service.
In 2019, Microsoft made a huge announcement about Xbox Game Pass about the new games which were going to be added to their library, which included ten games from the Final Fantasy franchise. It has been two years since that announcement, and only four of the ten promised games are available. So, what happened to the missing games? Will the wishes of the players be fulfilled?
Microsoft has confirmed that the six missing Final Fantasy games will be added to the Xbox Game Pass library. The games will be added in the coming months of 2021 and beyond.
A Microsoft spokesperson, in a statement given to TrueAchievements said,
“As we announced at X019, we are excited to bring the Final Fantasy franchise to gamers with Xbox Game Pass. We have done so throughout 2020 and will continue to do so in 2021 and beyond. We look forward to announcing specific launch dates for more Final Fantasy titles in the future.”

Although Microsoft did not provide a specific reason for the delay, it is comforting to learn that the players will get the promised games.
Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VIII Remastered, Final Fantasy IX, and Final Fantasy XV are available for download on Xbox Game Pass. The titles which are yet to come are Final Fantasy X: HD Remastered, Final Fantasy X-2: HD Remastered, Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy XIII-2, and Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII.
The six missing titles have hours of content whose presence would add tremendous value to Xbox Game Pass and potentially get more people to sign up for it.
