Safe codes in the mission ‘Alone’— Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 

The early access for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’s campaign starts today, which means players who had pre-ordered the game earlier can start playing the game’s standalone campaign from today.  

Throughout the Modern Warfare 2 campaign, players will come across two safes in the mission ‘Alone’. While the safes aren’t essential to unlock, they do reward you with some powerful gear and help you progress more smoothly through the campaign.  

Here’s how to unlock the two safes in the mission ‘Alone’ in Modern Warfare 2 campaign:

Where to find it: This safe code is found in the manager’s office of the coffee shop. If you’re not sure you’re in the right place, Ghost & Soap make a joke about it so keep your ears open for the cue. Above the desk, there’s a calendar. Shining your torch on the calendar will give you the solution which is the date of birth for the marked 40th birthday.  

Where to find it: This safe is located inside the El Maistro garage. Turn right before taking the tunnel to the church and you’ll reach the safe easily. Crawl under the door and head to the office and you’ll stumble upon the safe. The solution for this safe is on the laptop located inside the room with the raised car.  

Unlocking these safes will give players access to powerful weapons and handy gear which help them to navigate through Modern Warfare 2’s stealth sections easily. Weapons obtained from safes aren’t accessible ordinarily.
