Weekly Shonen Jump(Digital) Will Add Two New Manga Soon

In the last few editions of the Weekly Shonen Jump, two new manga, titled “Undead X Unluck” and “Guardians of The Witch,” were released. February is also going to be a delight for fans of non-mainstream manga as two brand new manga will be making an appearance in the WSJ.

The tenth issue of the WSJ announced that two short manga series, “Raven Burai” and “Harakiri Gomen,” are on their way. Both of these short manga series will be available exclusively on the Weekly Shonen Jump’s digital platform.

Raven Burai, written by Eiken Kobayashi, will revolve around a boy who is confronted by a former mercenary. The story will be of the street fighting genre.

Harakiri Gomen, written by Fusai Naba, will revolve around a blue-eyed samurai who exemplifies the creed of bushido. The story will be of the historical genre.

About Shonen Jump:

On September 22, 2014, the free Shōnen Jump+ mobile app and website was launched in Japan. It sells digital versions of the Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine, simultaneous with its print release, and tankōbon volumes of individual Jump series past and present. However, it also has extensive samples of the manga that can be read for free. There are also series that are serialized exclusively on the app, which, unlike in Shonen Jump, maybe aimed at adult men or women. These exclusive series are later published in print tankōbon volumes under the Jump Comics+ imprint.
