Shueisha and Weekly Shonen Jump are monsters in the manga industry, and every otaku knows about them. Last year, the company announced its vertical scrolling manga service, Jump TOON, which could bring the traditional format manga.
This time, the company made more exciting revelations, including some manga that the platform will feature.
Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine announced that Jump TOON will feature new manga chapters weekly, on Mondays and Tuesdays. The app is listed to be released on May 29, 2024.

The 25th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump on May 20 will reveal the lineup for manga that will release new chapters on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Hopefully, we will get to see some big names there.
Not only Shueisha but also companies like Bookwalker, Bandai Namco Films, and Wit Studio released their vertical scrolling manga apps, which are actually loved by readers.
These types of vertical-scrolling manga are easy to read, both on PCs and mobiles. They are also easier to translate and have a surprise factor (It allows the reader to focus on one panel at a time).
