Cyberpunk 2077 is in a much more stable condition now with the release of its most anticipated 2.0 update and Phantom Liberty expansion, but with new updates come new bugs. The Hi Ho Silver Lining quest bug is a recent one that hinders player progression.
During the quest, you need to meet Mr. Hands and interact with him with the dialogue options that the game offers. But the bug makes Mr. Hands just stand, appearing as if he’s stuck, with no way to talk or interact with him, and the game doesn’t offer any dialogue options either.

1. Restart the game
Whenever a bug occurs in any game in general, the first solution is to restart the game, and this is no different with Cyberpunk 2077. If Mr. Hands is stuck, simply close the game and restart it.
The quest should work as intended without the bug coming in between to hinder progress. While this may be an easy solution, it has a slight chance of working, so if it doesn’t work, proceed to the next fix.
2. Reload a Previous Save
Reloading a previous save can always help in games whenever a bug appears. Simply open Cyberpunk 2077 and reload a previous save before the bug occurred so that you can start the quest clean.
To reload a save:
- Simply go to the menu screen.
- Select “Load Game”.
- Choose any of the previous saves that you’ve created.
You should be manually saving to reload a save as autosaves get overwritten. This should bypass the bug, but a lot of times, even reloading the save doesn’t change anything. If you’ve reloaded a save and are still facing the same issue, then proceed to the next solution.

Hi Ho Silver Lining is a Side Job in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty that can be started after completing all the following Phantom Liberty Gigs for Mr. Hands:
- Dogtown Saints
- Treating Symptoms
- Prototype in the Scraper
- Waiting For Dodger
- Spy in the Jungle
- The Man Who Killed Jason Foreman
- Talent Academy
- Heaviest of Hearts
- Roads to Redemption
After completing these quests, Mr. Hands will ask you to meet him at the Heavy Hearts Club to reward you for your hard work. Head there and wait outside on the bench to pass the time until it opens, and then you can head inside.
Take the elevator in the back of the club, near the bar, to the third floor, where the private rooms are. Once there, head through the doorway on the left, and you’ll find Mr. Hands awaiting your arrival.
He’ll thank you for everything you’ve done and tell you that there’s a reward waiting for you outside the club. Take the elevator down to the main floor and go outside to see a Sport R-7 “Sterling” parked there.
Go inside the car, and it’ll automatically be added to the list of vehicles that you own, and now you can summon it whenever you want. As soon as you hop inside the car, the Side Job will be completed.
