Ways to clear your Wanted Level in Star Wars Outlaws – Explained

As much as we would like to believe that the galaxy in Star Wars Outlaws is lawless, there are some rules which every habitant must follow. Play dirty with the Empire and you will rack up a Wanted level. Before you know it, Stormtroopers will be chasing you around planets. Worry not, here’s how you can take care of it.

What is the Wanted Level?

The Wanted Level system is directly related to the Empire. It will be triggered if you get caught committing crimes against the Imperials. You will know when you are a fugitive when the word “Wanted” flashes across the screen.

The number of segments of the circle below the Imperial logo will indicate your Wanted level. The highest it can go is level 6. At this point, the authorities will begin a manhunt involving Death Troopers.

How to clear your Wanted Level?

There are several ways to erase your Wanted Level in Star Wars Outlaws. You can choose any one depending on how high your Wanted Level is.

Lay Low

If your Wanted Level is low, you can simply lay low for a while. Just stay out of sight from the Stormtroopers until they end their search.

If you are spotted by an Imperial, you need to hide again and stay out of sight. Eventually, you will be informed that the search has been called off.

This method works for lower Wanted Levels. If you are on level 6, simply hiding won’t work.

Bribing an Imperial

Certain members of the Empire are always looking for ways to make extra cash. Every city has Corrupt Imperial Officers who will clear your Wanted Level for a few bucks. You can easily find them by their marker on the map. Go up to them, pay the price and walk out as a free person.

These corrupt officials can clear a Wanted Level up to level 5. However, it will be a tad bit expensive.

Infiltrate an Imperial Terminal

Imperial Bases and Checkpoints are all over the galaxy. So, head to the one nearest to you and find an Imperial Terminal. They are computers which can be hacked into.

They can be located on the map but instead of a city, these computers are placed in the open world.

Hack into the Imperial Terminal. Once you are inside the system, call off the search. It will clear your Wanted Level to 0. This method also works for levels up to 5.

Use an Imperial Satellite

Just like an Imperial Terminal, you can use an Imperial Satellite and erase your Wanted Level. This will work if your Wanted Level is 5 or lower.

These Satellites can be found in space. Hop on to your Trailblazer and look for an Imperial Satellite. Park right next to it and interact with the Satellite. You must be out of combat. If any Imperial attacks you while doing this, you will be forced to start over.

Turn off the Death Trooper Terminal

If your Wanted Level is 6, the only method to clear it is to call off the search manually. This is the highest level in the game and it lives up to its name.

Locate the Death Trooper camp on the map. The marker will read “Death Trooper Squad”. Head over there and find a patrolling Imperial Officer. Take him down and steal his Imperial Terminal Keycard. Use the access card to get inside the main tent, guarded by Death Troopers, and clear your Wanted Level.

Death Troopers are one of the deadliest enemies in Star Wars Outlaws. Defeating them can be challenging. So, it is best to avoid this interaction.
