Netflix’s resident off-kilter super-family of The Umbrella Academy is back.

Season 2 will have 10 episodes of far-out action that will make you feel like you’re watching a summer superhero film in the comfort of your own home.

What happened at the end of Season 1?

If you have forgotten where the last season ended already, worry not, we have you covered. Also, it is completely understandable given that it’s been over 15 months since Umbrella Academy Season 1 came out.

We finally learned the truth about Vanya Hargreeves (Ellen Page): she has crazy destructive powers that were suppressed by Sir Reginald Hargreeves (Colm Feore).

She can turn sound into concussive blasts—and is not afraid to use them if pushed to the edge.

That’s how she felt after learning about how her father manipulated her, after learning that Pogo was in on it all along, and after being imprisoned by her own siblings.

She broke free, killed Pogo, destroyed the academy, and engaged her family in deadly combat on a theater stage.

When incapacitated by a sneaky Allison (Emmy Raver-Lampman) Vanya’s stored up energy had to go somewhere!

So it explodes outward, sending a blast of energy directly at the moon.

Chunks of the moon start rocketing down to Earth, leaving the Umbrella Academy with only one option: Number Five (Aidan Gallagher) would teleport his super-powered family back in time so they could halt the utter annihilation of the human race.

However, they weren’t the only ones time-travelling; Commission assassin with a heart of gold Hazel (Cameron Britton) pulled off a last-minute teleportation with the love of his life Agnes (Sheila McCarthy), narrowly avoiding getting swept up in the apocalypse.

So where did Hazel and Agnes land? And what about the Umbrella Academy?

Where did they end up? And is Vanya still evil? Is Ben (Justin H. Min) still corporeal-ish? Is Pogo really dead?! All will be revealed in this new season or at least most of them.
