It has been a week of good news for Watch Dogs: Legion. First, Ubisoft revealed the roadmap of the game, which promised to deliver tons of exciting stuff. Today, the studio confirmed the making of a performance mode that is bound to make Watch Dog Legions on next-gen consoles a smooth, seamless ride.
Ubisoft has made it official that a Watch Dog: Legions 60FPS update for both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S is in the works. The patch is currently being developed and will be rolled out shortly.
Fans will surely welcome this news with open arms as currently the game runs on next-gen consoles at 30FPS.
In a recent AMA session on Reddit, the game’s Live Producer, Lathieeshe Thillainathan, and Online Director, JP Cambiotti, confirmed the possible arrival of performance mode for next-gen consoles.
“We’ll have more details about this in our future TUs and Patch notes. 60fps for next-gen consoles is in development, and we’ll announce the exact release dates with our future TUs,”

With most of the games now offering a choice to choose from 30FPS and 60FPS modes, it’d be foolish if devs are not utilizing the benefits that the new horizon of gaming hardware offers.
When should I Expect Watch Dogs: Legion 60FPS performance mode to roll out?
Ubisoft is yet to share an exact release date for the upcoming patch. Moreover, information about Watch Dogs: Legion 60FPS performance mode is still scarce.
Luckily for us, this is not a matter of ‘if’ but ‘when’ as the update will surely hit the market in the near future.
