There might be a post-credits scene after WandaVision à la every Marvel movie, according to the show’s head writer Jac Schaeffer. The Marvel Cinematic Universe popularized the use of post-credit scenes to set up a storyline that is explored in other MCU films in the future. Since the joint story is what makes the Marvel movies such a success, post-credit scenes have become an essential part of the films- something that cannot be missed.
It is still unclear whether the new Marvel television series on Disney+ will follow the same format as the movies. Since WandaVision is the first of its kind, whether it will have a post-credits scene is a big question. In an interview with ET, Schaeffer was asked if the viewers could expect a post-credits scene from WandaVision.
She shared that the writers had considered putting a post-credits scene after every episode. Although her answer was slightly ambiguous, she did tease that a stinger might be there after the show’s finale. Check out her quote below:
“We looked at the show in a lot of different ways and a lot of different structural ways, but yeah. That’s a tricky question and I’m having trouble dodging it. [Laughs]
I would say that in any Marvel property, you should watch the thing in its entirety, no matter what. That’s what I would say.”

A post-credits scene for WandaVision might establish a link to Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness since Wanda is set to play a key role in the Sam Raimi-directed film. It might also have a connection to the third Spider-Man film, which is also connected to WandaVision and Doctor Strange 2.
There is also a chance that WandaVision’s post-credit scene might tease if fans should hold out hope for a second season of the show since star Elizabeth Olsen had earlier said that season two is a possibility.
Fingers crossed for a post-credits scene in WandaVision!
What do you think? Which future Marvel project will WandaVision connect to in its post-credits scene?
Damn! No streaming services found :/
