Burning Kabaddi promises an adrenaline-filled anime where chances will be grabbed by the nape! It is based around Kabaddi, a sport that demands animalistic strength to tackle and drag others.
Kabaddi isn’t a very well-known sport, but its thrill is nowhere lacking than other sports. Many of you may not know about this riveting sport, but that’s okay because even the protagonist of this anime was against it at first, before being captivated by the sport.
The Burning Kabaddi anime will premiere on 2nd April on TV Tokyo, TV Osaka, TV Aichi, and AT-X. A second trailer has been released for the anime.
The new trailer shows the passion involved with playing Kabaddi. It is a game where you need strength, resilience as well as a keen sense of prediction. The next move of the opponent needs to be predicted before they can even get into action.
Tatsuya Yoigoshi had no interest in sports when he entered high school, despite previously having played soccer. When the Kabaddi club tries to scout him, he scoffs at it but soon, he is fascinated by the kinds of techniques used in the game. It is like martial arts!
Two new cast members have also been announced for the anime! TMS Entertainment is animating Burning Kabaddi.
Character | Cast | Other Works |
Manabu Sakura | Natsuki Hanae | Tanjiro Kamado (Demon Slayer) |
Hiromoto Utou | Soma Saito | Tadashi Yamaguchi (Haikyu!!) |
“Fire Bird” by Shunya Ohiro is the opening theme of the anime. Yama Uchida performs the ending theme, “Comin’ Back.”
Kabaddi does not depend on solo strength; rather, it focuses on the combined strength and compatibility of a group. Tatsuya joins a new team with whom he has never played before, but he makes a rival as soon as he enters. Will he be able to maintain amicable relations and improve at Kabaddi?
