After Deadpool, Viz Media is opening the manga stage to Iron Man and Spider-Man. The duo’s amazing chemistry is going to invade the manga world with the help of Yu-Gi-Oh creator, Kazuki Takahashi.
Viz Media and Marvel’s collaboration is aiming to license several manga that are based on Marvel superheroes and it looks like Takahashi’s work is the next targeted piece.
Kazuki Takahashi’s Secret Reverse manga was originally released in 2019. Viz Media’s recent tweet declared that the manga will be licensed in summer 2022.
Secret Reverse is set in 2016 when Stark and Parker visited the Japan Game Convention. One thing led to another and instead of playing games, they ended up preventing an outer space invasion.
Several manga authors are die-hard Marvel fans, so this serves as an opportunity for them to pour out their creativity. (Talk about successful fanfictions) Deadpool Samurai, Marvel Meow, and much other collaboration manga are getting licensed by Viz Media.
Kazuki Takahashi has done an awesome job adapting the characters in his own style and giving them more interaction. Stark’s intellectual prowess and Parker’s quips make the ultimate combo in this manga.
Viz Media is taking huge steps in this year’s New York Comic-Con, and several manga licensing has already been announced.
