Episode 3 Recap

The episode begins with our dhampir boy Ange singing a tune, hearing which a strange boy comes to meet him. After humming the tune together, the boy introduces himself, saying his name is Robin.

Ange and Robin become fast friends, and when he has nowhere to go, he tries to find him a place to stay, at someone else’s home without their permission. Guil, being a no-nonsense guy, kicks both of them out.

When asked what he’s going to do now that he’s been kicked out, Robin just casually mentions that he’ll get a hotel room with all this money he has because he’s filthy rich, how inconvenient.

As the two of them roam the streets eating candy, Robin points out a poster of Lost Eden and says he wanted to go to the concert even though he couldn’t get tickets.

Robin is later seen breaking into Lost Eden’s green room, and as he sees Jack, he immediately recognizes him as his big brother. At first, Jack straight-up denies knowing him.

During his song, we see Jack recount the story of how he became a vampire. Robin’s voice was always higher than his, loved by God, as he called it, so he was jealous. He prayed to the devil instead and became a vampire so that his voice would never mature, talk about extreme.

Saga unexpectedly takes them inside so that they can talk it out. Jack tells him the whole story of how much he hated Robin and wanted to kill him all those years ago. Beth tries to erase Robin’s memories of Jack, but Robin asks him to kill him if he hates him so much.

Jack reluctantly made his brother into a vampire cause he’s a sweet big brother, and then as if nothing happened, they sing a duet together.

Robin and Ange go back to Guil’s place, where they are both welcomed now that Robin is a vampire as if the world didn’t have enough discrimination. As the two talk at night, Robin says he’s just glad to be with his brother.
