Episode 2 Recap
The episode begins with Yuki waking up in a strange place and looking around himself. That is when a person comes and asks if he is okay and checks his temperature. Yuki, not knowing who this other person is, asks him his name, and he replies that it is Eve.
Yuki also meets Panya, the panda-looking cat who had led him to the impromptu concert by Eclipse. Eve also informs Yuki that Guil carried him in after he fainted, and asks Eve to fill him in when he wakes up.
Yuki asks Eve if he’s a vampire and Eve shows him his supernatural powers.
He even tells him that vampires have their society and live by rules established by the scarlet moon, such as not feeding on humans and not letting them know of the vampire world. Failure to follow these rules will mean death.
Eve tells Yuki that he needs to prepare a room for him, but Yuki refuses to stay and tries to walk away.
Eve then explains that he doesn’t know about his powers as a dhampir and needs to stay there, so Yuki agrees. Eve hands Yuki a tiny box and asks him to go to a vampire named Elizabeth in Harajuku.
As he stands outside the door, he meets a person from a band called Lost Eden from the day before. He invites Yuki in since he can’t come in without being invited as he’s a dhampir.
It seems he can’t tolerate silver and wooden stakes either. When exposed to a drop of blood, Yuki is visibly in pain. Elizabeth looks at him and says he fainted due to Hematophagia and needs to drink blood from other vampires.
Since Yuki does not want to drink the blood of other vampires, Elizabeth asks him to hand him the small box over. Inside is a red crystal with which Elizabeth makes the nectar of life for Yuki to drink.
As Yuki returns, Eve asks him what he wants to do with his life now, since vampires live forever. Yuki goes to Guil and asks what music is for vampires. Guil tells him that vampires express their feelings in song and that they cannot lie.
Yuki insists that he doesn’t know what his song or feelings are, but he wants to sing. In the end, an unfamiliar boy is seen following Panya just like Yuki had the day before, coming to where Yuki was practicing on his piano.
