The famous action series Fast and Furious has one of the biggest franchises with over ten films and multiple spinoffs, but it’s coming to an end sooner than you think. Fast X, the tenth Fast and Furious instalment, is the beginning of the end, and the film after that will wrap up the film series.
Fast X, set to release in theaters on May 2023, has yet to receive a trailer, despite its release date being less than six months away. But now Vin Diesel posted a BTS photo of himself and his on-screen sister Jordana Brewster on Instagram and teased that our patient waiting will end by February 2023.
The actor posted the image with the caption stating that the trailer will release in less than two months. You can view his original post below:
Speaking of February 2023, we all know that on February 12, the Super Bowl will commence, which is the perfect time for the trailer’s release. Even if not, rest assured that Toretto will keep his word, and we’ll get the long-awaited trailer for Fast X in the month of February.
The film’s plot and character list pose a big question mark up till now, so hopefully, the promised trailer will shine a light on how Fast X will continue the story after F9. We know a few returning cast members, including Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, John Cena, and Ludacris.
The tenth instalment will also introduce the sadistic main antagonist Dante, who Aquaman star Jason Momoa will play. Other debuting actors in the film series include Brie Larson, Daniel Melchior, Rita Moreno, and Alan Ritchson. Their new roles are kept hidden for now, but we’ll have some answers as soon as the film’s release draws nearer.
Fast X will be in theaters from May 19, 2023, so mark your calendars for your next wild ride!
