Episode 6 Preview & Speculation          

In Episode 6, Vanitas and Noe will team up against Charlatan and fight the evil creature with everything they have got.

It’s definitely a great opportunity for Vanitas to prove his innocence and show the Vampire world that his intentions are to save the Vampires. We will also find out what happened to Jeanne after she sucked Vanitas’ blood.

Episode 6 Release Date        

Episode 6 of the The Case Study of Vanitas anime, titled “Questions”, has been released on Saturday, Aug 07, 2021.

Since this anime runs on a weekly schedule, new episode releases are seven days apart.

Episode 6 of The Case Study of Vanitas will be released as per schedule. No such delay has been announced.            

Episode 5 Recap       

Episode 5 takes us back to the days when Noe was adopted by his master. He narrates how an old couple came across him crying on a snowy evening and became his first parents.

After the couple died, Noe moved into an orphanage where his master found him. Belonging from a royal family himself, it didn’t take him long to identify Noe’s elite bloodline.

He took Noe in and introduced him to his two grandchildren, Louise and Domini. The three got along pretty well, befriended the children of the forest, and grew up together like siblings.

One day, when Noe was exploring the abilities of his elite bloodline, he sucked Louise’s blood and saw him curled up in pain and surrounded by darkness. If only his skills were better, he could have found out about his past trauma.

Later it is revealed that Louise was a curse-bearer, and that’s the reason why he was ignored and neglected by his family members. He knew that his end is near, and he wished Noe to be the one to kill him.

One day, his blood-thrust did take over his instincts, and he went out of control. Noe Master arrived just in time, and be-headed Louise with a single hit.

Coming back to the ongoing fight, the Charlatan was about to drag him down into the darkness of his traumas when Vanitas arrived and saved him from turning into a curse-bearer.

Can the infamous Book of Vanitas bring an end to Charlatan’s evil practices? We have to wait for the next episode to find that out.

About The Case Study of Vanitas

The Case Study of Vanitas manga is created by Jun Mochizuka. It started serialization in the Monthly Gangan Joker magazine in December 2015. It is receiving an anime adaptation in July 2021.

Noe, a young vampire, is in search of a cursed book called The Book of Vanitas. However, on his flight to Paris, he comes face to face with Vanitas and realizes that he is a self-proclaimed vampire doctor.

Somehow Noe ends up as Vanitas’ partner to heal vampires who are going feral under an evil influence.
