Riot announces Valorant Console Beta starting on June 14 for a few select regions

Valorant Console Beta was announced at the Summer Game Fest 2024. Prayers have finally been answered as Riot confirms the launch of the popular first-person shooter game for multiple platforms. The limited beta will be available next week in selected regions beginning on June 14th.

The Valorant limited console beta will begin on 14 June, 2024. However, Riot Games is yet to announce its end date. However, given the history, the beta test should last for a month. An open beta is likely to be announced soon after.

How to sign up Valorant Console Beta?

Follow these steps to sign up for the limited beta:

• Head over to the official Valorant beta website.
• Click on “Register Now”.
• If you have a Riot account, click on “Sign In” or else, click on “Sign Up”.
• Enter your account details.
• Wait for confirmation.

After successful registration, you will receive an email stating the same. If selected, you will receive an invite code along with a referral link via mail.

Even if your current region is not included in the list, you are encouraged to sign up for the beta. 

Supported Regions

As of now, the Limited Console Beta for Valorant is only available in a select few regions. Here’s the list of the supported regions:

• USA
• Canada
• Europe (selectively)
• Japan

As confirmed by Riot, Valorant on consoles will feature custom-built gameplay. There are no plans to include crossplay between platforms as of now. However, you can play from the same account on multiple platforms and share progression.

About Valorant

Valorant is a free-to-play first-person tactical shooter developed and published by Riot Games. The game has a competitive player base and currently runs on Unreal Engine 4.

The game is set on a near-future Earth and features a cast of characters known as Agents, each of which have their own unique set of abilities to create tactical opportunities. Ten players are divided into two teams, Attackers and Defenders, with the goal of winning the most rounds. Players have access to a number of in-game weapons, shields and abilities which they can purchase before the start of every game.
