The new kid on the block, Valheim, drops you smack in the middle of a foreign land as you try to make a living for yourself. As you progress through the game, various materials and weapons unlock but out of the lot, which are the best weapons in the game? I’ve compiled this spoiler-free tier list of weapons in Valheim as a quick reference of what you should definitely get.
Valheim Weapons Tier List
I’ve divided the weapons in Valheim into four sections. Tier S being the best and godlike, Tier A the top picks, Tier B being pretty good, and Tier C are the ones you should only use as starter weapons when nothing else is available.

I. Tier S
i. Draugr Fang

This bow crafted from ancient bark should be your top pick for a bow. Not only the Draugr is the strongest bow out there, it also has additional poison damage. The materials required to craft the bow are pretty hard to locate, but you should not have to look elsewhere once you have them.

One of the top weapons in Valheim, the Frostner is pretty versatile. It not only deals Frost Damage but inflicts Blunt and Spirit Damage as well. The Frostner can be used against any type of enemie and not only the skeletons.

What makes the Black Metal Atgeir worthy of the spot in Tier A, you ask? Three things: its damage, its reach, and that sweet, sweet area of effect damage. This is the weapon of choice when you plan to take multiple foes at once in your Viking survival trip.
III. Tier B
i. Porcupine

The only mace in Valheim that sets you up with Blunt and Pierce Damage warrants a place in the Tier list. Damage equaling the Black Metal Sword, the only reason it is not in the A tier is because of its swing speed.

Crafted from the Kraken itself, the Abyssal Razor is not a common sight in Valheim as only the worthy can get it. One of the best daggers in the game closing in on the Black Metal version, the Abyssal Razor has the added advantage of increasing its sneak bonus by using it with the Troll Set.
