Episode 9 is titled, “Tsuki Uzaki  Wants a Thrill?” The preview was not shown at the end of the previous episode.

As we could see from the fireworks episode that Uzaki and Shinichi are getting closer. We speculate that we may see Shinichi visit Uzaki’s home for the first time.

3. Recap of Episode 8

Episode 8, titled, “I Want to Watch Fireworks Together!,” begins with Uzaki apologizing to Shinichi and paying him money for spending all of his money at the pub and ruining his futon.

Shinichi told her that it’s okay and refused to take the money. But she keeps insisting so he takes it and starts behaving awkwardly and cautiously around him as she feels guilty.

The next day at work, Shinichi wonders how to get Uzaki back to behaving normally like she always does. Then we see that the cafe owner Mr. Asai and Ami ask him what happened.

Shinichi tells them all about it and Ami gives him two tickets to the fireworks festival and suggests that he take Uzaki there and often compliment her and she may get back to her usual self.

Shinichi invites Uzaki to watch the fireworks and they go around playing games and eating food but things were still awkward between him and Uzaki.

Shinichi then remembers Ami saying something about complimenting Uzaki, so he keeps doing that and gradually Uzaki reverts back to her usual state.

Upon feeling too shy she swings her handbag too hard and it hits Shinichi and he passes out.

Then we see a quick recap of Uzaki and Shinichi when they were in high school and he taught Uzaki how to swim properly and later they had gone to the fireworks festival too.

Back to the present, Shinichi regains consciousness and finds himself lying on Uzaki’s lap.

At the end of the episode, we see that Shinichi thanks Uzaki for always being there for him and spending time with him and that she should continue to do so, and then they watch the fireworks together.

It has been serialized through Niconico Seiga’s Dra Dra Sharp website since December 2017 and collected in five tankōbon volumes by Fujimi Shobo as of July 2020.
