Kadokawa announced in February that Uzaki-Chan Wants To Hang Out, or Uzaki-Chan Wa Asobitai, will get an anime adaptation. This was prompted by the huge fanbase that the manga gathered over.
The manga was launched in December 2017 and ranked in the top 20 web list of Da Vinci and Nico’s Tsugi ni Kuru Manga Awards in 2018.
The anime will be directed by Kazuya Miura, who worked on Kemoni Michi: Rise up and produced by ENGI studios. Takashi Aoshima, who worked on Yuriyuri – Happy Go Lily, will oversee the writing. In contrast, Manabu Kurihara will work on character designs.
2. Uzaki-Chan Wants to Hang Out Release Date
Uzaki-Chan Wants To Hang Out will release in July 2020. No exact date is announced as of now, but the anime will make its debut in the Summer 2020 Anime season.
