Uzaki-Chan Wants To Hang Out! is one such anime which will take the first spot when it comes to hilarious and playful scenes.
The first series aired from July to September, 2020 which became an instant hit with its jolliness. The series is adapted from a manga with the same name written and illustrated by Take.
The manga series even ranked in the top 20 in 2018, which is a huge achievement given its genre. An anime adaptation coming from such a manga is sure to make us laugh with its joviality.
The last season with just 12 episodes made us thirst for more Uzaki and Shinichi moments. The bluntness and obliviousness of Uzaki towards her surroundings and the embarrassment Shinichi feels for having such a “kouhai” makes the story really interesting.
On September 25, 2020 an announcement was made on its official website that there will be season 2. It is just a matter of time to see Uzaki-Chan playfulness back in action.

The trailer starts off with the cat yawning, then we hear Uzaki commenting and complaining about her bust size.
We also see multiple flashbacks from season 1 where Uzaki complains about her bust. The trailer ends with Uzaki announcing that she’s going to be back with her senpai.
4. Plot: What To Expect From Season 2
Season 1 was more of a com-rom since slice of life and comedy came first. In season 2 we can expect it to be full on rom-com mode.
We might see Uzaki insisting to her girlfriends that she doesn’t have a boyfriend, that she’s only hanging out with Shinichi all the time since she pities the loner.
The way they act when together is beyond just pity, but both of them will continue to deny their growing closeness. With a little help from their friends they get the push needed to go on a festival date.
During their date when they visit an occult fortune teller, the fortune teller questions them of why aren’t they together when everything aligns for them. This question gives Uzaki the confirmation needed about Shinichi’s feelings.
With all their cowardness towards love, will they be able to confess to each other their feelings before they run out of time as Shinichi bluntly says, “In two years I’ll graduate and leave”.
5. Conclusion
Uzaki-Chan is a perfect mixture of comedy, romance and slice of life. If you’re someone who likes laid back comedy with a little bit of romance, Uzaki needs to be on the bucket list to watch.
The playfulness and cuteness of Hana Uzaki has surely captivated us in the first season. I’m excited to see how season 2 unfolds. Will it be a rollercoaster ride or will they finally be able to confess their feelings?
