In episode 7 of Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out! season 2, Hana does not want to admit that she has feelings for Shinichi. She tells Sakaki that since Shinichi graduates next year, she will make him confess his love for her.
Sakaki is frustrated as it would have been much easier if Hana admitted that she has feelings for Shinichi and reveals. Hana plans to make a bento for Shinichi, and they eat lunch together. Yanagi visits Asia Café to meet Shinichi.

Episode 8 is titled “Yanagi and Kiri also want to have fun.”
Hana at least took the initiative to do something, as they didn’t have much time left together. Though she still doesn’t want to admit that she likes Shinichi, she prepares a bento for him and eats together.
They are coming closer to each other as the day passes. It will save some of Sakaki’s energy if Shinichi and Hana confess to each other real quick in the upcoming episodes. Yanagi also might help them come closer now that she has taken an interest in them.

Recap of Episode 7
Hana is still worried about Shinichi graduating the following year. Yanagi asks Hana if she is concerned about matters related to Shinichi, which Hana refuses.
Sakaki finds Hana watching Shinichi’s female classmates talking to him from a distance. Hana makes an excuse saying she was waiting for the right time to sneak an attack on Shinichi.
Hana further tells him she’s glad now that she is not the only one who has to pay attention to Shinichi. Sakai tells her he will introduce those girls to Shinichi as those girls might have taken an interest in him.
Hana doesn’t seem to like the idea but since she can’t accept her feelings yet tells Sakaki that Shinichi wants her and it’s no use introducing those girls to him.
Sakaki is frustrated because it would be much easier if Hana confessed. Shinichi asks Sakaki for his suggestions on what he should give Hana as a thanking gift for throwing him a birthday party. Sakaki feels that Shinichi and Hana might not take as long as a year to get together.
Hana deeply thinks about ways to make Shinichi confess his love to her before he graduates. Hana plans to make a bento for Shinichi. Although Sakaki is not very fond of the idea, he agrees. Hana is confident that she knows what he likes by cooking daily for him.
Hana’s family stares at her while she tries to make bento, making her uncomfortable and not as easy as she thought. As she ponders what she should make, her mother advises her to make anything she likes and avoid raw foods that get spoiled easily. So, Hana concludes that she will make a tamagoyaki omelet.
Hana gives Shinichi the bento she made, which makes his heart thump. They end up eating lunch together. Hana does not agree to eat in the dining hall as she does not want anyone to see them eating matching lunches.
While playing games, Yanagi asks Hana to let her meet Shinichi, to which Hana disagrees. Hana is shocked to see Yanagi in her workplace. Hana asks her to return home, but Shinichi tells Hana not to chase Yanagi when she comes to meet her. Yanagi and Shinichi have a good conversation which makes Hana restless.
