Summer is here, and along with the bright weather, it brings a season of joy for otakus. Summer anime season 2020 has lots of exciting anime scheduled for release in July, and we cannot wait! Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out! is an upbeat manga that is sure to beat the summer heat.
The official website of Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out! has just revealed that the anime will have 12 episodes. It will have three home video releases, and each release will contain four episodes.
The first volume will be a limited edition that comes along with a clear poster by the creator. The anime will start broadcasting from July 10 (Friday) on AT-X, TOKYO MX, San’in Broadcast, and BS 11. The anime will also air on ABC TV and TV Aichi on July 11 (Saturday).
The anime will be available on d Anime Store starting July 10 and on ABEMA from July 13. Broadcast schedules may be subject to change due to the prevailing conditions.
The main cast of Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out! will appear on an online live radio show called “SUGOI Radio” to talk about the upcoming anime. Naomi Ozora, who plays Hana Uzaki and Kenji Akabane, who plays Shinichi Sakurai, will be present as well.
The ending theme of the anime is “Kokoro Knock,” which is performed by a virtual singer, Yuni. The opening theme “Negotiation by Comforting” is performed by Kano and Naomi Ozora.

The anime is sweet, cute and suits the mischievousness which accompanies summer. Hana Uzaki, the energetic and confident kouhai of Shinichi, wants to keep poking fun at him. Maybe this delightful relationship will turn into something serious over time.
Kazuya Miura is directing the anime under studio ENGI. It is written by Takashi Aoshima, and Manabu Kurihara is in charge of character design.
