I. The Café Owner!

Episode 2, titled “The Café Owner wants a Glimpse!” begins with the laid-back music was playing at the café, the café owner was describing his ideal atmosphere that he maintains for his customers.

Sakurai works part-time there, and the owner is pleased to have him as an employee. Uzaki appears, and the atmosphere turns noisy.

The owner peeks from under the counter, curious about their relationship. She introduces herself to the owner and orders something to eat while giving her senpai teachings on the customer-waiter hierarchy.

Sakurai doesn’t hold back and insists she leaves, never losing his poised expression. The owner finds it amusing. Sakurai displays his excellent work skills while serving Uzaki, she finds it hilarious and gets thrown out. But he walks her home.

II. Those Misunderstandings

The next day, Uzaki catches Sakurai playing with a cat. She teaches him how to pet animals. He gets depressed after it runs away, so Uzaki heads out to find that cat.

But she ends up getting stuck in the bushes. He finally gets her out after giving the passersby wrong impression. At the lunch hall, Uzaki learns Sakurai was going to eat with his friend, always worried about him she begins to talk with him in sign language from far away.

Back at the café, the owner and Sakurai have a chat over coffee after they finish work. Uzaki disturbs the calm atmosphere when she comes in and begs for help with her report.

They end the statement at the café, and the owner who enjoys their banter decides to give Sakurai a raise.

It has been serialized through Niconico Seiga’s Dra Dra Sharp website since December 2017 and collected in five tankōbon volumes by Fujimi Shobo as of July 2020. In North America, the manga is licensed by Seven Seas Entertainment.

An anime television series adaptation by ENGI premiered on July 10, 2020. Hana Uzaki is thrilled to discover that she is attending the same college as her high school upperclassman Shinichi Sakurai.

After a year of watching him laze around, he concludes that he is turned into a loner. Therefore, she decides to spend as much time with Shinichi for him to experience a fun lifestyle.
