Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates begin a new journey with Toei Animation officially opening its first and only One Piece cafe in the US. The cafe is located on Spring Mountain Road in Chinatown and will open on May 11, 2024.
The 2,000 sq ft. One Piece cafe will be decorated with depictions of Monkey D. Luffy and his Straw Hat Crew on their epic high seas quest to find the One Piece.
The cafe is a partnership between Greatness LLC’s restaurateur Andy Nguyen and Toei Animation, One Piece anime studio. Andy Nguyen has also worked on the Sonic Speed Cafe, based on Sonic the Hedgehog.
One Piece-Inspired Recipes
The One Piece cafe will serve on-brand One Piece-themed food. From Devil Fruit-inspired Stretchy Mochi Cookies to Chopper’s Hat Cake and Big Mom’s Wedding Cake, the place has it all.
Fans can look forward to a chef-driven menu inspired by the series characters’ favorite foods, such as Robin’s favorite Japanese Fruit, Sando, the Mighty Meal Pirates Platter, and Zoro’s Onigiri.
The cafe offers a variety of beverages, including Nami’s favorite, Mikan Tangerine Slushy, Sanji’s All Blue Mocktail, Pumpkin Juice, and Coke-a-Cola Ice Cream Float.
Everything You Need To Know About One Piece Cafe
Following the announcement of their first and currently only US-based One Piece cafe, fans now have an official website where they can view all the delicacies they will soon be able to enjoy. Toei Animation has released an early preview of the menu and food for the fans.
The cafe’s official website describes it as a gastronomic voyage. It is a “world where food meets adventure, and every meal is a celebration of friendship, flavor, and the spirit of the Grand Line.”
The One Piece cafe’s website includes the One Piece official merch and One Piece themed menu, including the prices. The website also has all the required information about the opening details and the address so that the fans can have a seamless experience in the cafe.
The One Piece cafe’s grand opening is on May 11, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and will have special appearances from Luffy and Zoro in the first half. Fans can visit the cafe at 5600 Spring Mountain Road, Las Vegas, NV 89146, within the hours of operation.
