Episode 5 Recap
Episode 5 starts with the director complaining about Uramichi’s identical intros in every episode. He wants the intro to be a bit unique, so he asks him to show up in the stage while doing backflips.
Uramichi gets annoyed seeing the director not paying enough attention to his hard work but controls his emotions anyways. Later, when the show is over, a boy reminds them that he is really looking forward to their annual concert.
Uramichi, Iketeru, and Utano remember how such concerts take everything out of them. Moreover, the choreographer makes them practice till the very last moment, thereby giving them hardly any time to rest.
Thankfully, the show goes pretty well. It starts with Utano and Iketeru’s song and is followed by Uramichi and Kumatani’s gymnastic performance. If you follow the lyrics carefully, you will understand how meaningless and lame they are, just like their daily lives.
After the concert is over, the production team takes the performers for an after-party. But surprisingly, Uramichi avoids them and heads back home earlier than usual.
