Rentt Faina, an adventurer, confronts his mortality and embarks on an adventure to reclaim his humanity while battling the evil forces that caused his curse in the first place.
A second promotional video was revealed for the television anime ‘The Unwanted Undead Adventurer.’ The anime will debut on January 5, 2024. Crunchyroll will simulcast as it airs in Japan.
The trailer features the main character, Rentt Faina. He gets eaten by a dragon and wakes up but discovers that his entire body is a skeleton.
The following few scenes show him using magic and his swordsmanship skills. We also look at Rentt’s companions- Lorraine, Sheila, and Rina.

‘The Unwanted Undead Adventurer’ (Nozomanu Fushi no Bōkensha) is a light novel series written by Yū Okano and illustrated by Jaian. It was launched on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in September 2016. Overlap acquired the novel and is publishing it since October 2017.
Rentt Faina is an adventurer with a decade of experience but is stuck to a lower rank because of a lack of innate talent. One day, while exploring a dungeon, he encounters a dragon who eats him. He survives but now exists as a skeleton. Rentt now seeks to physically ‘evolve’ by fighting and absorbing magic.
