On December 13, the official website and Twitter account for the Unnamed Memory series announced that a television anime adaptation of the light novel series is in the works and will premiere sometime in 2023.
The website released a teaser visual and announcement video, along with information regarding the main cast and staff for the anime.
The main cast for the anime includes Atsumi Tanezaki, who will be voicing the character Tinasha and Yoshiki Nakajima, who will be voicing Oscar.
The anime, based on the light novel series by Furumiya Kuji and chibi, is being directed by Kazuya Miura at Studio ENGI. Deko Akao is doing the series composition, and the character designer is Chika Noumi. Akito Matsuda is in charge of music composition.
The story of the novels, as described by Yen Press, is:
“Climbing a deadly tower, Oscar seeks the power of its master, the Witch of the Azure Moon. He hopes her incredible magic can break a curse that will kill any woman he takes for a wife.
When the prince sees how beautiful Tinasha is, though, he has a better idea-since she’s surely strong enough to survive his curse, she should just marry him instead!
Tinasha isn’t keen on the idea, but agrees to live with Oscar in the royal castle for a year while researching the spell placed on the prince.
The witch’s pretty face hides several lifetimes of dark secrets, however-secrets that begin resurfacing…”
Furimiya first began serializing the novels in September 2012 on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website. Kadokawa began publishing the novels in print with illustrations by Chibi in January 2019.

Unnmaed Memory is a fantasy romance light novel series written by Furumiya Kuji and illustrated by Chibi. The novels were first released in September 2012.
The novels focus on Oscar, who seeks the power of the Witch Of the Azure Moon. He hopes that the witch can break the curse he has been burdened with that will kill any woman he takes as hid wife.
However, on meeting the beautiful witch Tinasha, he asks her to be his wife instead, since she can surely survive the course. Tinasha agrees to live with Oscar in his palace while finding a solution to break his curse.
