Undead Unluck Ep 8 Release Date, Speculation, Watch Online

Episode 8 of ‘Undead Unluck’ is titled “Dream”. The fight with UMA Spoil reaches new dynamics as it reveals a more powerful form.

Andy uses Fuuko’s Unluck with the zombies to create an army of explosive undead. The damage begins piling up as all the zombies run to the UMA and explode. However, this forces the UMA to inhale all the zombies and transform.

In the UMA’s second form, it gains more intelligence, and Spoil grows stronger. Fuuko’s timer begins counting down rapidly, but Ken knows how to increase it.

1. Episode 8 Release Date

Episode 8 of ‘Undead Unluck’ will be released on Friday, November 24, 2023. It is a weekly anime, and new episodes are released every Friday. You can watch Undead Unluck anime on Hulu.

‘Undead Unluck’ is not on a break this week. Episode 8 has not been delayed and will be released on the above-stated date.

2. Episode 8 Speculation

UMA Spoil has now unlocked a much more powerful second form. UMA knows Apocalypse as well as the abilities of Negators, it may have high intelligence as well. However, Ken’s discovery of using dreams might be her weakness.

Fuuko, talking about her dream, increased the timer to 20000, while Shen’s dream increased it to 99999. The effectiveness may be related to the person’s resolve or goal. Fuuko only wanted to be an ordinary girl, while Shen aspired to become the greatest.

Andy’s effectiveness against UMA Spoil has dramatically reduced because of its Spoil radius. After Shen’s dream declaration, he managed to go through the Spoil and hit the UMA. Therefore, it’s safe to assume that anyone with a dream becomes invulnerable against Spoil.

3. Recap of Episode 7

Andy commands all the zombies to go after the UMA and the entire horde listens. In the basement, Fuuko introduces herself to the kids and explains the purpose of the Union. The oldest kid, Ken, talks about the UMA’s invasion a week ago, which converted everyone to zombies.

Moreover, Ken has also discovered a way to increase the countdown timer. The conversation is interrupted by a commotion from above, Andy brutally slaughtering the UMA. Andy throws the bride to Shen, asking him to keep her safe. One of the zombies bumps into Fuuko and runs into the UMA, causing Unluck to do more damage to the UMA.

Andy proposes a new plan; he asks the zombies to touch Fuuko and then run toward the UMA. Before she can do anything, the bride hugs Fuuko. Unluck triggers a massive explosion after the bride runs to the UMA.

Shen shows Andy the timer on his belly, rapidly ticking down. Andy says they have no hope but to kill the UMA instead of capturing it. Shen rejects the idea since they would fail the quest. Suddenly, the UMA inhales all the zombies and changes form.

In the UMA’s new form, it has grown more intelligent and much stronger. Spoil now applies to anything in its radius, and Andy gets clobbered into the ground. Fuuko’s timer starts ticking down, but she remembers what Ken did to increase it.

Fuuko starts talking about her dream of becoming an ordinary girl and living life to the fullest. After Fuuko announces it out loud, the timer resets. Shen follows in her footsteps, telling them his dream to become the greatest. If the person has a dream, their body will never spoil away.

4. About Undead Unluck

Undead Unluck is a manga series written and illustrated by Yoshifumi Tozuka. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump since January 2020. As of May 2023, it is collected into 16 volumes.

The story follows Fuuko Izumo who has the ability to bring bad luck to anyone she touches. Tormented by her ability, she decides to commit suicide but fate intervenes when she meets Andy, an undead person who wishes for the ‘best death.’ The pair joins the mysterious organization, Union, which consists of people like Fuuko and Andy, and go on missions given by a book called ‘Apocalypse.’
