Episode 18 of Undead Unluck is titled “Cry for the Moon.” In this episode, Andy suspects Juiz of hiding something.

Andy and Shen think about the suspicious events in the past that Juiz knew ahead of time. Moreover, Juiz knew about Victhor, Billy and also about the addition of UMA Galaxy. The Union is tense at the prospect of their leader being a traitor.

However, Juiz explains the truth of the world. God has put the earth on an eternal loop of destruction, and Juiz has been through it all.

1. Episode 19 Release Date

Episode 19 of ‘Undead Unluck’ will be released on Friday, February 16, 2024. It is a weekly anime, and new episodes are released every Friday. You can watch ‘Undead Unluck’ anime on Hulu.

‘Undead Unluck’ is not on a break this week. Episode 19 has not been delayed and will be released on the above-stated date.

2. Episode 19 Speculation

Juiz has pulled out a book that contains the events of both the future and the past as she experienced through the multiple loops. Juiz wants Andy and Fuuko to be the ones to look through it. Therefore, the next episode will likely be focused on a recap of multiple past loops and parallel timelines.

Victhor is a significant part of the past time loops, and his history with Juiz is also a mystery. Juiz talks about Victhor as an old partner and friend, so they must be on good terms. However, Victhor willingly repressed his memories and became Andy.

Juiz may try to figure out Under’s base of operations and Billy’s intentions in the next episode. Although Billy wants to kill God, he still betrays the Union and joins Rip’s side instead. With enough convincing from Juiz and Tatiana, Billy could return to his family.

3. Recap of Episode 18

Apocalypse continues complaining while the rest of the Union decides their next move. Juiz asks for the mission report, and Nico explains everything. Andy asks about the Galaxy penalty and Juiz’s attitude towards these penalties.

Shen also asks about Juiz’s knowledge of Victhor since he hasn’t been out in over 200 years. Moreover, Victhor also seemed to know about Galaxy before the rule was even added. Billy mentioning the Ark is also suspicious since the Union has no information about that Artifact.

Juiz takes off her helmet and says the world is in a loop. God has put the world in a constant cycle of destruction and repetition. Juiz created the Union to end this cycle. As the sun rises, Andy asks Juiz why only she knows about the loop. Juiz says that the Ark had shown her the visions of the loop.

Juiz begins explaining how the world will die and start again. God’s hands will destroy the earth, and a new planet will be created in its place. The fragments of the old world are the same meteorites that Fuuko’s Unluck summons. 

Juiz knows about Andy’s small mole behind his ear that remained from the previous cycle. Victor was very close with Juiz in the past, so Juiz knows about the mole. Although the loop destroys and creates everything, Juiz uses the Ark, and Victor survives because of the Undead.

Billy’s insurrection was because the information about the loop was leaked. Juiz bows down and apologizes for everything. Furthermore, Juiz asks the Union to continue this mission to kill God with her. As they recreate the Roundtable, the Union waits for the following quest report.

Apocalypse announces the four pending quests, but Juiz wants to focus on Billy and Under’s base first. Since both Billy and the Union have the same goal, they can still work together. Juiz pulls out a book for Andy and Fuuko that contains future and past events.

Undead Unluck is a manga series written and illustrated by Yoshifumi Tozuka. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump since January 2020. As of May 2023, it is collected into 16 volumes.

The story follows Fuuko Izumo who has the ability to bring bad luck to anyone she touches. Tormented by her ability, she decides to commit suicide but fate intervenes when she meets Andy, an undead person who wishes for the ‘best death.’ The pair joins the mysterious organization, Union, which consists of people like Fuuko and Andy, and go on missions given by a book called ‘Apocalypse.’
