Episode 12 of ‘Undead Unluck’ is titled “Activate.” In this episode, the Negator Hunters face off against Andy and Fuuko.

With Fuuko on his back, Andy fights through the security to reach the storage hold. The Negator hunters try to kill the user of Unmove, but Andy arrives at the nick of time. After an intense fight with Rip, the user of Unrepair, Chikara understands his ability.

The Negator Hunters escape before the security shows up again, but Andy is caught. However, with the help of Unmove, Chikara comes to his rescue.

Episode 13 of ‘Undead Unluck’ will be released on Friday, January 5, 2024. It is a weekly anime, and new episodes are released every Friday. You can watch ‘Undead Unluck’ anime on Hulu.

2. Episode 13 Speculation

Now that Chikara has learned to use Unmove, Andy may recruit him into the Union. However, their first step is to defeat all the guards and escape the yacht. The auction has already been sabotaged because of the Negator Hunters.

Rip and Latla will probably try to escape since they can’t kill Andy now. However, Andy is still searching for Unseen. The primary objective given by the Union was to find Unseen, so Andy can’t leave yet.

Andy and Fuuko will likely chase after Rip and Latla in the next episode. Although Apocalypse has provided the location of Unrepair, Andy can just chase after him directly.

3. Recap of Episode 12

Andy and Fuuko fight through the security guards with the Unbreakable Sword, Kurikara. Andy heads down the stairs to the cargo hold, where the Negator Hunters will likely be. In the middle of the chaos, one of the Negators attempts an escape.

Chikara had been found out because of the language unification. Rip reaches Chikara first, but Rip can’t understand Chikara’s language. One of the Negator Hunters opens fire on Chikara, but Andy blocks all the bullets.

Andy quickly analyses all of his enemies, and Rip lands a cut on Andy’s neck. However, the wound doesn’t heal and continues bleeding because of Unrepair. Andy thinks of cutting his head off, but Rip says that he negates all movements that are an act of repair.

The sword stops before reaching Andy’s neck, stopping him from slicing his head off. Andy charges toward Rip, and Fuuko cuts his head off. Andy’s head flies towards Rip and catches him off guard. Tatiana takes care of the other two Negator Hunters.

Unfortunately, Unrepair isn’t enough to kill Andy forever. Fuuko tries to fight with Rip’s philosophies, but he remains adamant. Andy tries to slice Latla, but the katana misses, and a spurt of blood appears from nowhere. Andy puts his hand to the card, but Fuuko tells him not to pull it out.

The Mafia shows up with a fleet of soldiers, forcing the Negator Hunters to run away. Chikara asks the guards to help Fuuko, but they don’t care about her. The soldiers fire their guns, but Chikara stops the bullets mid-air using Unmove.

Undead Unluck is a manga series written and illustrated by Yoshifumi Tozuka. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump since January 2020. As of May 2023, it is collected into 16 volumes.

The story follows Fuuko Izumo who has the ability to bring bad luck to anyone she touches. Tormented by her ability, she decides to commit suicide but fate intervenes when she meets Andy, an undead person who wishes for the ‘best death.’ The pair joins the mysterious organization, Union, which consists of people like Fuuko and Andy, and go on missions given by a book called ‘Apocalypse.’
