The chapter gave us a little background of Shen’s life till the tournament, how he met Mui and found the purpose of his life. Mui turned out to be completely different from what everyone expected. 

She apologized to Shen for entering the tournament. All she wanted to do was help him. However, now they are facing off each other in the final round as Fuuko gets disqualified so that Shen can fight Mui to prevent his tragedy.

Fuuko asks Shen the reason he is fighting so hard. He starts telling them that Feng trained him just so he could fight Fuuko, but all this makes Shen feel useless. 

Then eight years ago, when he was about to give up on the idea of training, he met Mui. She treated him while he was injured, and to repay, he trained her in martial arts. 

Now, he is fighting for Mui and her sick brother, who run a restaurant together. Thus, Shen has found a purpose and can be useful at last. Fuuko is called to appear in the ring in ten seconds, but she doesn’t go, saying that she has nothing more to teach Shen.

She gets disqualified, and the final is set between Mui and Shen. Fuuko knows that this is the match where Shen will become the strongest. 

Mui and Shen tell each other not to hold back and take their stance. Mui attacks first and sends Shen flying high into the sky with one kick. Fuuko is shocked to see Mui’s sheer strength. 

Feng gets excited as he knows she is way stronger than Shen. Fuuko is amazed by how much stronger Mui has gotten. She assures them that she will prevent the tragedy, so she wants them to continue fighting without holding back.

Undead Unluck is a manga series written and illustrated by Yoshifumi Tozuka. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump since January 2020. As of May 2023, it is collected into 16 volumes.

The story follows Fuuko Izumo who has the ability to bring bad luck to anyone she touches. Tormented by her ability, she decides to commit suicide but fate intervenes when she meets Andy, an undead person who wishes for the ‘best death.’ The pair joins the mysterious organization, Union, which consists of people like Fuuko and Andy, and go on missions given by a book called ‘Apocalypse.’
