Undead Unluck Chapter 161: Release Date, Speculation, Read Online

Everyone safely lands on Earth after a tough mission in chapter 160 of Undead Unluck, titled “Welcome to Earth.”

The mission was finally over, and it was one tough job with lots of twists and turns. It was good to finally have a mission that was filled with difficulties, as Fuuko hadn’t faced these many problems for quite some time. 

Phil got some more development in this chapter, and his character is someone whom I am interested in. The ship failed to get rid of its problems till the very end, but all of them tried their best to have a safe landing, and they did.

The team is most probably complete now. I think it might be time for Fuuko to reunite with Andy. I am looking forward to it.

As Fuuko and the team is about to escape on the ship, the alien latches on the ship, preventing the escape hatch from opening. Phil goes to fight it. Nico gets worried. 

Fuuko tells him that since the aliens react to feelings and Phil is having Unfeel right now, he has a massive chance of landing a blow on the alien. Phil converts his hand into a scissor and cuts the alien. 

Phil returns to the ship, and Creed takes them out of there. However, Ichico reports that their ship is still latched with something, and they won’t be able to land their parachutes in this condition.  

They find out that it is the aliens’ eggs. Now, it is not possible to control the trajectory of the ship. Phil goes out on his own and tries to change the trajectory. 

Phil remembers a conversation he had with his mom where his mom told him that they would go to Earth after the work was done, and he will meet some kind souls there who would help and support him. 

His body starts to crumble. Gina comes up and grabs him. She tells him to believe in their union and put the pedal to the metal. He uses all his power, and they successfully land on Earth. 

Phil’s mother searches for him. He is safely sitting with Gina. Everyone takes a sigh of relief as they finally succeed.

Undead Unluck is a manga series written and illustrated by Yoshifumi Tozuka. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump since January 2020. As of May 2023, it is collected into 16 volumes.

The story follows Fuuko Izumo who has the ability to bring bad luck to anyone she touches. Tormented by her ability, she decides to commit suicide but fate intervenes when she meets Andy, an undead person who wishes for the ‘best death.’ The pair joins the mysterious organization, Union, which consists of people like Fuuko and Andy, and go on missions given by a book called ‘Apocalypse.’
