Fuuko tells everyone to fall back while they attack the creatures. She tells them to head for the elevator that leads them to Phil’s mother. Phil wants them to let him fight, but Fuuko refuses. 

While running, they get their hands on the part of one of the creatures. They all suspect it is an Uma, but Fuuko tells them that it is an alien. They decide to keep an eye out for some weak points. 

They discuss that the creatures are only after Phil and his mother. Phil asks Sean what “feelings” are, as he tries to experience and learn what it means. Phil asks Sean about the saddest thing he ever experienced. 

Sean replies he was the saddest when his father died because he wouldn’t be able to see him anymore. They are talking when suddenly, a giant creature shows up with Phil’s mother inside. 

She asks if her son is okay. Nico tells her that they are going to save her, but she tells them not to try and get away. The giant ball of creatures starts to react as if it is about to explode. 

Fuuko and her team start attacking it and fetch his mother out. Phil’s mother apologizes for locking him up, and she is not sure whether he has feelings or not. 

Nico tells her not to give up as her son is trying to learn what feelings are all for her sake. He doesn’t want Phil to learn the lesson of sadness from his mother’s death. 

Suddenly, a creature attacks Nico, and he finally learns that they attack on the basis of feelings. They are currently behind the biggest source of these feelings, i.e., Phil. 

Phil tries to act as a decoy, but Fuuko interferes and tells him to think about his mother. Nico tells the lady that he is the most riled up right now, and his feelings are stronger than anyone else’s at the present moment.

The story follows Fuuko Izumo who has the ability to bring bad luck to anyone she touches.
