Phil gets attacked by “them” in chapter 157 of Undead Unluck, titled “Save You.”

Phil turned out to be a robot with a human brain and a mechanical body. He is desperate to save his mother, who is trapped somewhere else and is being targeted by entities that are being called “them” throughout the chapter.

Fuuko got so confused by all the sudden twists that she even forgot that her first priority was to save Phil. Things didn’t go according to her, but she was back to her senses by the end of the chapter.

Fuuko and her team enter Phil’s room. Fuuko is confused as she didn’t predict anything of this sort. She wonders how he can walk and breathe openly without a mask or suit. 

They all are shocked to see that Phil has a mechanical body. Phil tells them that his mother put his brain in a mechanical body. He is ten percent organic tissue. 

Nico takes a look at Phil’s damaged mechanical hand. Phil tells them that his mother is in the shelter on the second floor of the central tree. He wants them to save her as she is being targeted by “them.”

The shelter will be destroyed soon, so they have to hurry. He tells them that he will teach them how to defeat the enemies while they head there. While heading out, Nico asks Fuuko what she thinks about the enemies. 

Fuuko looks worried, so Phil tries to cheer her up with some cat’s cradle. He tells her that he does this whenever his mom is upset to cheer her up. Suddenly, they are attacked by “them.”

Phil closes a door behind Fuuko and others and gives them the job of saving his mother while he fights the enemies. He tells them that the only way to destroy their foes is through attacking their inner part, which opens only when they feed.

So, Phil starts letting them eat his body to get an opening. Nico opens the shutter, and Fuuko rushes toward Phil. She saves him from the creatures and apologizes.

She takes charge of the situation and gets ready to destroy the enemies.
