In the new Assassin’s Creed Mirage: Accolades trailer, Ubisoft showcases the praises they received from notable game reviewers and media outlets like Game Star, Jeuxvideo.com, Game Informer, Game Pro, and Game Rant.

German Gaming outlet GameStar was the first to heap praises on Assassin’s Creed Mirage upon its release on October 5th. They also mentioned that because the game goes back to its roots, Ubisoft Bordeaux did not do anything new and does not follow “any new narrative paths but adheres to the safe but well-trodden path.”

Second in line was French game Reviewer and media outlet JeuxVideo.com. In their day one review, JeuxVideo mentioned that Mirage feels very close to AC: Unity set in France. Mirage was called a “True Tribute that never strays from the Credo!”

Game Informer touched upon how good the Golden Age of Baghdad looks in AC: Mirage. They dubbed the gameplay style as a return to the predator-prey style, with stealth and tool usage deemed essential and open-world combat quickly leading to death, forcing stealth.

The review by Game Pro also resonated with the same sound, “return to the roots,” which is very well executed by Ubisoft Bordeaux. Game Rant had a rather poetic take on the game.

They called it “a Love Letter to the Earliest Days of the Franchise.” This review is highly accurate because of the desaturated blue color filter reminiscent of 2007’s OG Assassin’s Creed: I.

These reviews show the impact Assassin’s Creed Mirage has had on the Assassin’s Creed fanbase and the gaming community as a whole. Ubisoft Bordeaux has done justice to the title and lived up to the expectations of the fans who keep going back for more to AC: Mirage, which is out now for the PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S
