The CW has just announced the premiere date of the sophomore season of the horror anthology series Two Sentence Horror Stories. The series, which was initially set up at CW Seed, moved to the network in August 2019. It was renewed for a second season soon, which is scheduled to debut on January 12th. The premiere was announced with a press release and a video.
The nine-episode second season will have the same format as the first one. Each episode will tell a 30 minutes long standalone story. In the press release, The CW provided an official description for the first two episodes, which will kickstart the season.
The first episode is titled “Bag Man” and it will focus on five high school seniors who fall prey to a terrifying monster during detention. Bzhaun Rhoden, Doralynn Mui, Keeya King, Rob Labelle, Hunter Dillon, MJ Kokolis and Roy Campsall star in the episode.
“Elliot”, the second episode, will revolve around a transmasculine student, who endures merciless bullying, until a mysterious janitor offers to take care of them. James Goldman, Janet Kidder, David Lewis, Elise Shak, Eliza Faria, Edwin Perez, Ella Dixon, Micah Solis, Robyn Daye Edwards, Ethan Hippel and Jhomar Suyom star.
Fans of the show will also be glad to know that the show is not going away anytime soon. A third season has already been ordered by The CW, even before the premiere of the second season.
