KyoAni knows how to hit you with the right amount of emotions and visually appealing animation, and Tsurune is the best of both worlds.
After watching the anime’s first season, I can guarantee that many of you were left wondering about Minato’s past. Seiya and Shu’s conflict was no laughing matter either. Thankfully, it looks like the upcoming movie will answer some of our queries.
Tsurune The Movie: The Beginning Arrow will be released in Japan on August 19, 2022. Although worldwide streaming options have not been decided yet, I’m sure the movie will be available to you soon.
While you wait for the film to get released, check out the latest trailer for the anime, where you will see a cute little Minato in his pre-target panic days:
Minato can be seen with a determined look on his face as he longs for ‘tsurune,’ the sound that resonates from the bow when an arrow is released. All of his friends are also shown in the video.
Masaki and Seiya can be seen having a conversation regarding Minato, and it looks like a group therapy session will be held soon. So, look forward to unraveling a lot of past trauma because almost every other person in this series has issues. (Exactly why I like them.)
The trailer also previews the theme song for Tsurune: The Movie, “Hand” by Luck Life. All of the cast and staff members are reprising their roles in the film, and I bet it will be just as memorable as season 1(if not more).
Tsurune The Movie: The Beginning Arrow will undoubtedly bring back a lot of nostalgic moments as it will portray Minato’s younger self, how frustration and hatred changed his relationship with archery, and how he will reclaim his peace.
