Tsurune: The Linking Shot Ep9 Release Date, Speculation, Watch Online

A practice session with Kirisaki ignites both teams’ passion in episode 8 of Tsurune: The Linking Shot titled “Trajectory.”

A close collaboration between the coaches of Kirisaki and Kazemai ends in a joint practice session of both kyudo teams as they bond and help each other improve in the sport.

We see Minato finally back in the kyudo range and a completely different person now as he draws his bow with his teammates, and the whole team practices ikiai to a level they couldn’t have imagined before.

The next episode will likely have Nikaido and his team get the training range to practice for nationals, and they can finally take their practice sessions a little more seriously now that they have the funds to do it properly.

Masaki said that Kazemai focuses on their ikiai throughout the match, meaning they still have much more to go. The practice sessions will likely intensify even more as nationals approach closer and closer.

Recap of Episode 8

The school club arrives at Kirisaki and admires its infrastructure as their club finishes up its morning kyudo practice session and meets our prominent members afterward. The Kirisaki club shows them around the kyudo range as they look forwards to their practice together.

Shu asks the coach if they could use this opportunity to have Takigawa take a ceremonial first shot as they couldn’t see him shoot last time. Masaki asks Minato and Kaito to assist him as he obliges to inaugurate the session.

Masaki takes a beautiful crisp shot with perfect accuracy and form, marking the start of their practice. Sen and Man realize that Yamanouchi is why Shu had a change of heart about kyudo and started showing up even earlier to practice.

Minato looks forward to the nationals, recalling his initial conversation with Nikaido about their teachers and form. He admires Nikaido for his talent and unique style of kyudo and wants to talk to him again.

Nikaido gets some funds from the school and a training camp for nationals. All that’s on his mind is winning the tournament, and he will use the full extent of his strength to get win.

The coaches decide on a practice match between the regular teams of both Kazemai and Kirisaki, and they start in perfect unison. The way they shoot is different now after all their practice, each shooting off the other.

Minato lines up a beautiful shot as he maintains a perfect rhythm with everyone on the team; the cumulation of all the practice he’s had is finally showing fruit. Manji finally feels ready to return to the regular team, and everyone else agrees.

Kazemai’s team also quickly walks around the campus and checks out the Kirisaki dorms and everyone’s rooms. They hang out in the other’s rooms, bond, and even have snacks.
