Tsurune: The Linking Shot Ep10 Release Date, Speculation, Watch Online

Kazemai and Nikaido’s team have a joined practice session in episode 9 of Tsurune: The Linking Shot titled “Bending Will.” 

As a beach vacation practice comes to an unexpected coincidence where both Nikaido and Kazemai show up at the same range, they take advantage of this opportunity to learn from each other and improve their ikiai. 

However, Nikaido is still persistent in his past grudges because of his uncle and refuses to get any closer to Kazemai’s team, especially Minato. However, a change of heart slowly creeps in as he talks with their coach.

Episode 10 Speculation  

Kazemai and Nikaido’s team will face off yet again at the practice range the next day, and the team is undoubtedly still bitter about their loss against Nikaido during the tournament. That loss has improved their practice sessions, making them a changed team. 

Kazemai will win the match this time or come close to give them the confidence they need to continue their practice for nationals. Nikaido will likely try and forgive Minato in his heart and maybe even accept Masaki.

Recap of Episode 9 

The Kazemai kyudo team finally prepares for some much-needed relaxation from the rigorous practice as they go on vacation on the beach. However, they immediately run into the Nikaido team and are brought to a standstill. 

The manager profusely apologizes as an error on their part accidentally had them double book the range for both teams. However, they all act mature about it and decide to share the ranges and split the price.  

They approach Masaki and ask to help with a new attempt at ikiai using the help of the women to call out their movements and imitate the video. The three girls call out each of their shots as they replicate the final performance. 

Nikaido seems on edge today, startled by this sudden change in plans, and it even shows in his shooting as he misses his shot. After a while, they get time to rest and take a break with some refreshments. Minato even offers some to the Nikaido team as a sign of good manners. 

He even asks to see their team’s performance to improve their ikiai by watching him perform. Minato watches like a hawk as the entire team analyzes their timing together in the bath. 

They bring some fish to the girls, but no one on the Kazemai team has any experience preparing fish, and one of the Nikaido team members jumps in at the opportunity to impress the girls by showing his skill at cooking wish. 

They have a relaxing meal together as they begin bonding together as kyudo archers; Nikaido, however, distances himself from them all and goes out to the beach to talk with his uncle, who tells him to learn from them instead of sticking to shamen. 

He remembers his childhood as he observed his uncle shooting in shamen form and even learning it from him directly. At some point, he eventually switched up from his shamen form and wanted to know from Saionji, but he was turned down. 

However, Nikaido spotted both Shu and Minato learning from Saionji and confronted Shu about it but left angrier than he was in the start. As he sat with his thoughts, Masaki approached him on the beach and praised his technique. 

However, Nikaido won’t accept his compliments and remains firm in his grudges, as he hasn’t had anyone to guide him since his uncle. Even Masaki realizes this and hopes to have maybe him feeling a bit more like himself.
