Tsurune is all ready to take the next shot! It hasn’t been long since the movie made its way to screens, and the second season was announced immediately. If this seemed a little fast to you, here’s another bomb. The second season will be released in just a couple of months.
The official website for the anime series revealed a visual with a promotional video on Friday. The video reveals the additional cast that will be a part of the series. Season 2, also known as Tsurune: The Linking Shot, will premiere on January 4, 2023.
Crunchyroll and HIDIVE will be simulcasting the archery anime series. Luck Life will perform the opening song “℃” and the ending theme “Hitominaka” will be performed by Tei.
The cast from the previous season will be reprising their roles, including Yuto Uemura, who voices Minato Narumiya, and Kensho Ono, who voices Shu Fujiwara. Additional cast members that have been revealed in the video are listed below:

Kyoto Animation has been an inseparable element of the Tsurune series. While the manga runs under their KA Esuma Bunko label, the anime and the recently-released film have also been produced by them. They will also produce the second season.
The following members will be the primary staff behind the second season. While Takuya Yamamura will return from the previous installments, Masaru Yokoyama will also return from the film as the music composer.

The first season definitely wowed us with its beautiful animation. We certainly expect it to be better than before in Tsurune: The Linking Shot.
About Tsurune
Tsurune is a light novel by Kotoko Ayano which was adapted into an anime series by Kyoto Animation in 2018. As of 2022, three volumes have been published under Kyoto Animation’s KA Esuma Bunko imprint.
The plot revolves around Minato, a high schooler who has grown up loving archery but developed a sudden target panic. Yet, he is recruited into an archery club in high school and along with his team and instructor finds the true meaning behind his passion.
