Tsuma, Shougakusei ni Naru Reveals Teaser, Cast, Release Date and Other Info

Tsuma Shougakusei Ni Naru’s (If My Wife Became an Elementary School Student) anime adaptation, based on the popular manga of the same name, has received a confirmed release window. The anime is set to premiere in October 2024. The anime’s official Twitter account released its first trailer, and other information about the anime has also been revealed on the official website.

The short video, intriguingly titled ‘Wife Edition,’ unveils a unique premise. It begins with the protagonist, Keisuke Nijima’s supposedly deceased wife, Mai Nijima, returning home in a surprise form- as an elementary school student, Marika Shiraishi.

Keisuke, initially bewildered by the sight of a young girl claiming to be his wife, soon comes to the heart-wrenching realization that his beloved wife has been reincarnated as an elementary school student.

As Keisuke’s daughter, Mai, engages in a heartfelt conversation with her mother, the audience is reminded of their shared beautiful moments. The cast information for If My Wife Became an Elementary School Student anime has also been released. Tsuma, Shgakusei ni Naru is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yay Murata. It began as a one-shot in Houbunsha’s seinen manga magazine Weekly Manga Times in April 2018, before being serialised in the same magazine from July 2018 to December 2022.
